1802 S-230 1 50 35 2,150.00 Dark olive brown with some areas of brick red toning.  Some of the brick red areas are rough, especially on the rev.  Some scattered marks.  Removed from a PCI holder graded AU50.   Condition Census #15.      A-

1802 S-236 1 45+ 40+ 4,500.00 Brown with some reddish-brown around the profile.  Some reddish-brown below U and around RI.  The surfaces are smooth but there is some very minor planchet roughness above the point of the bust, as made.  There is some verdigris over E in AMERICA.  Some very tiny circ. marks.  Tied for Condition Census #14.             A+

1802 S-240 3+ 25 25 8,500.00 Brown with smooth surfaces.  Some very minor marks.  There is a old, faint pin scratch under STATES to the top of O in OF.  LDS, with all the die cracks.   Condition Census #5.          A+

1802 S-240 3+ 35+ 30 10,000.00 Chocolate with smooth surfaces. Ancient, faint pin scratch from hair under R to shoulder. Some faint, light scratches on right obv. field. Some ancient, minor pin scratches on the rev. Some minor circ. marks. Tied for Condition Census #3. A

1802 S-241 1 35 35 5,500.00 Stemless.  Brown with smooth, glossy surfaces.  There are some very minor marks.  This variety could be called a "Three Errors Variety" since there is a double fraction bar, it is stemless and the final S in STATES was punched too low and then moved back into the correct position.  Tied for Condition Census #12.  Noyes Photo #58422.  In a PCGS holder graded XF45.      A+

1802 NC1 5+ 15 7 750.00 Brown with dull surfaces that are lightly porous.  There is an ancient scrape across the lower neck.         A--
