1797 S-133 5 7+ 6 1,250.00 Stemless.  Brown with lighter devices.  Smooth surfaces.  An old, diagonal scratch on the right obverse field.  There are tiny reverse rim nicks at 12:00 and 7:00.  As is typical for an S-133, 97 in the date is a little weak.     A+

 

1797 S-133 5 12+ 10 5,000.00 Stemless.  Steel-brown with micro granularity.  No other defects.  A very scarce 1797!!!!  Tied for Condition Census #9.  Comes with a Grellman Attribution and Grading card as 12/10.  Ex-Tom Reynolds;  Jack Wadlington.                     A

1797 S-136 3- 50+ 45 8,000.00 Mottled shades of brown from a very old re-coloring. Smooth, glossy surfaces. Some minor circ. marks and hairlines. The first 7 is weak from grease on the die.  Condition Census #4.   A

 

1797 S-137 2 45 40 6,750.00 Brown with smooth, glossy surfaces.  Some minor marks, most of which occurred prior to striking when the planchet stock was run through the rolling machine.  Some minor planchet striations at the bottom of UN.  Very softly struck.  Tied for Condition Census #4.  Removed from an NGC holder graded XF45.    A+

 

1797 NC2 6 15 10 7,000.00 Olive brown with dull surfaces that are evenly granular. There is a very tiny mint clip at 10:00. LDS, with a rev. rim break over D ST.
